The Higher Yields Band is a Nebraska-based country band built around honest songs, strong musicianship, and a live show made for everything from small-town bars to festival stages.

Rooted in Red Dirt, traditional country, Americana, and Southern rock, The Higher Yields blend their own original music with songs from artists like Cody Jinks, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Charley Crockett, Sturgill Simpson, Brent Cobb, and others who continue to shape the sound of modern independent country music.

Fronted by Grant Peterson on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, the band brings together musicians who care as much about the song as they do the performance. Jeff Erpelding adds lead guitar and steel, Andrew Gritten holds down the low end on bass, and Taylor Ginther drives the band from behind the drums.

The result is a sound that pulls from country music’s roots without being stuck in the past—mixing familiar favorites, deeper cuts, and original songs into a live set that feels distinctly their own.
